Not pleasant weather at all, the drive to Windy Gap was ridiculous, I had to actually stop on the drive up the road a couple of times as I couldn't see anything at all - literally nothing!. Those of you who know the road will know that it is a a road for driving along blind.

Once at WIndy Gap it was still zero visibility but also blowing a gale and pouring with rain. John turned up so off we went, down toward Angler's Retreat and then down Al's Descent into Artists Valley.

We had an easy ride back up the hill and did the top part of the MX trails down to the mines. We didn't continue on for the full figure of Eight as there was no way we would have got through the fords with the amount of water present, so had a slog back up to the cars and headed home - Once again very tentatively through the mist and murk.
